On August 30, 2025, the DMV celebrated the 7th Annual Riddim & Roots Sound System Festival at Lamont’s Entertainment Center. Ten systems showcased Caribbean culture with booming bass and roots energy. Community, food, and music united all, alongside a backpack giveaway supporting students. Gratitude to sponsors, vendors, and supporters.

On July 6, 2024, DSA proudly hosted the 6th Annual DMV Sound Festival at Camden Yards Baseball Stadium. Ten powerful sound systems lit up the day, joined by vendors, delicious food, and endless fun. With music, kids’ activities, and community vibes, it was entertainment for the whole family.

On September 7, 2024, DSA hosted the 5th Annual DMV Sound Festival and the second East Coast Link Up series at Lamont’s Entertainment Center. Six sound systems from five states showcased culture and vibes: Exclusive Sound (NY), Neptune Sound (NJ), Kosmik Sound (NY), Point Blank Sound (VA), Blue Steel Sound (MD), and Pisces Sound (MD).

On Saturday, July 1, 2023, DSA hosted the 4th Annual DMV Sound Festival at the Howard County Fairgrounds. Ten member sound systems showcased their skills while attendees enjoyed food, drinks, vendors, kids’ activities, and games—making it a lively, family-friendly celebration of music, culture, and community.

Eight powerful sound systems showcased their clarity, precision, and formidable equipment, uniting music lovers and culture enthusiasts in an unforgettable celebration of Caribbean sound system culture.
