Join us for a night filled with music, unity, and community spirit as we bring the legendary Rae Town energy to Bladensburg, MD. Expect good people, good vibes, and a true Caribbean-style experience.

Event Recap: 7th Annual Riddim & Roots Sound Festival 2025

Thank you to everyone who supported and attended the DSA Riddim & Roots Sound Festival 2025.

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, the DMV came alive with heavy bass lines, sweet melodies, and cultural energy at Lamont’s Entertainment Center in Indian Head, Maryland. Sound system owners, engineers, and selectors from across the region showcased the rich traditions of Caribbean sound system culture while celebrating its vibrant future.

Our group is passionate about music, using sound systems as a vehicle to give back and to do good in our communities. We are advocates for different genre of music ,and the preservation of the conduit through which it flows - sound systems.

We host  monthly fundraising events and the proceeds  are used to facilitate our charitable community initiatives such as our annual back to school event.
